This is the third profile of our recent Partner of the Year winners. Below is a profile on Zetes, who is the winner for the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) region.
Zetes, a company based in Brussels, Belgium, is a leading European system integrator and provider of supply chain, identification and mobility solutions and services. The company was founded in 1984 and has experienced steady growth over the last 28 years. The company’s goal is to provide its customers with traceability, security and productivity through all aspects of the supply chain.
The partnership with Zetes allows Wavelink to reach out to their large installed customer base in the EMEA region. Zetes possesses the most important network of subsidiaries in the mobility and automatic identification sector and is, at the same time, efficiently structured to provide multinationals with a consistent approach for their cross border projects. Acting as the single entry point, Zetes greatly facilitates Wavelink’s management effort for these big international companies.
Zetes has benefited from the partnership because Wavelink software provides enhanced service offerings to Zetes’ customer care portal, TotalCare.
“Our main goal is to provide our customers with the best service possible,” said Jan Vermeesch, vice president of business development and marketing. “Our alliance with Wavelink fits very well within Zetes’ strategy to offer more options to our customers. Integrating Wavelink’s Avalanche into our TotalCare portal, allows us to provide our customers with the service and information they need to run their business in the most efficient manner possible.”

Greetings! A couple of items for today’s post. The first is an article that I came across at the end of last week which caught my attention. We’re big on the benefits of remotely diagnosing and remedying problems, hence our remote control product. So naturally, when I saw that Chevrolet will soon allow owners/drivers to remotely set/check on current settings and statuses of their Chevy Volt automobiles, I was intrigued. Give it a read and tell us what else is on the horizon for remote control type applications, and where you’d like to see them evolve?
Also, hopefully you’ve visited us at either the Chicago or this week’s Ft. Lauderdale Motorola Road Show! As you know, we have some secret giveaways for anyone who stops by and mentions any of our Social Media outlets. If you’re in Ft. Lauderdale, drop by today and say hi to Don Osburn and Jay Cichosz (seen in pictures below)!
We’ve got another secret giveaway for anyone attending the Motorola Roadshows in Chicago (10/13 – 14) and/or the Ft. Lauderdale show (10/18 – 19)! The prizes are limited to the first 7 attendees who stop by and mention that they heard about the giveaway from either the Wavelink Blog, Twitter, or Facebook pages. Stop by and say hello, we always like to chat with our Partners and end-users… and now you even get a prize for doing so!
Also, last week we were in beautiful Key West, FL to host our global sales conference, which preceded our 2010 Customer Summit. Below are some pictures of the group and the local scenery. A special thank you to all the end-users and presenters who were able to attend the event. We hope you had a great time and came away with some valuable information.
See you in Chicago and Ft. Lauderdale!
We’ve made a lot of noise about our recent partnership with InfoLogix, so I thought we’d post some pictures from the Sapphire show in Orlando. We are demo-ing multi-modal and Voice input for SAP, and below are a few snaps sent by Don Osburn, our Director of Channel Sales.
If you happen to be at the show, stop by and say hello or send us your pictures and we’ll post them here with your captions!
Many of you have seen the recent press release announcing our partnership with InfoLogix. To sum it up, the partnership combines the voice capabilities of Wavelink Speakeasy with the expertise of InfoLogix in SAP supply chain execution solutions. You can see the combination in action next week at SAPPHIRE NOW (May 16 – 19, 2010) in Orlando.
Further, it was great to see this come across the wire this afternoon! Congrats to InfoLogix and we look forward to our partnership.
Here is a picture of Peter Cannon (Senior Product Manager) at our booth (booth 600) during the Motorola Channel Partner Expo morning session. We are showing Avalanche 5.0, so if you are around, stop by and say hello.
